MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Brockell. I’m the founder and currently - the primary group leader of WW. Nothing makes me feel more alive than traveling. I grew up in rural middle America and took my first travel adventure abroad in 2004 as a single young woman at the age of 22. After traveling in Latin America for 6 months on that trip, my life has never been the same.

It transformed not only me, but also my relationship with world. Since then I have travelled to 11 countries, spent countless months abroad, and spend as much time as I can on the Hawaiian Islands, where my heart feels fully at home.

Wanderlust Women is not only my passion project, but it is the capstone of my professional career. After years of adventure guiding, grass-roots community organizing, teaching and facilitating groups on many levels both in the USA and abroad, I've turned my vision into this brand.

Throughout my travels I have sat in many circles of women all over the world and have noticed that powerful things happen when women come together. It doesn’t matter the context, the age, background, or skill-set; there is some special force that happens when we gather.

I started Wanderlust Women

because I believe in this

power and I believe that

together, women can

change the world.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for every female-identifying individual to fully realize their potential, and use travel as a catalyst for this experience.

My favorite city is Istanbul, my favorite island is Kauai, and I can’t really put a “favorite” label on a country or region, but I have a special love for Latin America. I love surfing more than just about anything in the world, backpacking in the high country, horses, and adventures of all kinds.

As an experienced yoga teacher of over 13 years (RYT 500), I began co-leading retreats abroad in 2014 and have since led 12 retreats abroad in Switzerland, Greece, Iceland, and Costa Rica.

In January of 2022, I relocated to Costa Rica to follow my dream of living abroad and have been steadily and slowly working on building create my best life and my business there. I'm dedicated to continuing to grow and learn personally and professionally, and I'm humbled and honored that you are all along to witness the journey to get there.

There's a lot of exciting growth on the horizon for our WW community, with new, exciting destinations and online offerings we hope to roll out between the fall of 2023 and 2024. I look forward to bringing my vast experience.
